Today I honor my own family heros

Normally this blog will be on issues, today it will honor those who have served from my family.
Richard Lane served in WW2.   Fought in the battle of the bulge suffered a hand wound that
immobilized his hand the rest of his life.  He was awarded the silver star. Lloyd Heston Navy WW2,      
Leroy Heston Navy WW2,  Retired Navy Raymond Heston Army WW2 Eurpoean Theater,
Don Heston Army WW2 European Theater,Tom Mullen Navy WW2, Claude Mullen Army Air force
navigator  WW2,  Harold Phenis tank commander Korean conflict, Hugh Best Navy Korean conflict,
James Heston Navy Vietnam Conflict, Richard Heston Navy Vietnam conflict, Dennis Mullen Navy career
Veitnam,  Larry Haley army career Veitnam.  Scott Carter army Desert Storm.  There were others. These
are the men who served during my lifetime.  Please say a prayer and celebrate their sacrifice as they themselves
never felt that they were special and that is why they were.
